I finally defended my thesis at the C2DH of the University of Luxembourg!

It was on Epistemic Practices of #PatternRecognition and #ImageAnalysis in West German Particle Physics, Communictions Engineering and Informatics 1950–1980.

Thank you to everyone who accompanied me on the way! <3

Zu sehen ist eine Eingangshalle, in der rotes Fallterband in einem Dreieck um einen Eimer herum aufgespannt ist. An den Ecken des Dreiecks stehen kleine (Warn?)Bäume in Blumentöpfen. An der Decke oberhalb dieses Aufbaus sieht man einen großen Fleck, der mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit durch einen Wasserschaden entstanden ist.

Are there any “knowledge organization” programs that you use, or do you prefer Post-Its?

Do you stick to the same routines throughout the entire research project or are you more of a “creative” type?

From the cable car I saw an autonomous car in San Francisco. Clash of the times. Luckily there aren't that many tunnels in SF.

Saw a driverless car on the streets of San Francisco yesterday. Not only was I unprepared for this, but despite all the reading about autonomous vehicles, I found it somehow disturbing. Luckily there aren't that many tunnels in SF. #
