Yes, I'm banging on about them again since I really, REALLY like the game, just Embark has decided to let meta-hounds and gross behavior taint the whole thing into oblivion. They're showing that they want to cater towards hostility rather than social interactions

Embark pulling a Riot and Activision-Blizzard and not doing any moderation on inappropiate players hooting slurs every other breath is what I'm mainly worried about - You can sit there smiling since bad players means buyers for microtransactions, but you're scum for it

It had taken a while for me to realize just how ungodly unabalnced the game is when it comes to both PvE and PvP; going up to second or third-tier weapons simply doesn't matter, since apparently three rounds from a Kettle are enough to drop someone in a heavy shield???

It's Spelunky 2 all over again: More ways to keep the player from suceeding, but not balancing it out with more ways they can use counterplay. Feels like they're designing things to cater to the freaks who have broken builds, somehow

Not getting additional glamor slots/tabs is a disappointment, but the unlocked restriction (sans weapons/off hand) will mean some redundancies can be cleared out, at least. Very interested in the strategy board, too

It'd be a tough read due to why my feelings were complicated, and it's an intensely difficult writeup since having to go back to some memories is a bit

It's also rad that, with enough planning, just about every card in the game will have -some- use in a particular deck or playstyle. I can't imagine you can outright break the game with busted combos, but there's a lot of powerful plays available

It was a 'struggle' to make it through the latter half; not because of the challenge or dislike, but the themes of going absolutely batty from losing a cherished person was driving a knife -deeeeeeeeeeep- in my chest

There was even a Weasel card that shows up in the pool to redirect damage
