So excited to get my hands on Selma Asotić’s book of poems, Say Fire! She is an incredible poet and it is great to see this book, which was widely acclaimed in its original BCS version, released in English.

Exceptional moral clarity, and powerfully names the chasm between two realities - one where the industrial killing and maiming of children is a crime against humanity and evidence of a genocide, and another in which is it purely a rhetorical move.

Maybe the point of this is a rhetorical flourish that shows how Trump is out of step with public opinion, but man did you have to be naive to believe anything other than that Trump thinks criminal and immigrant are synonyms.
