Every day in this country continues to feel like a trainwreck in progress and you're just watching the cars ahead of you buckle on the tracks, so here's some fun:

Broom making, apartment gardening, and reading as much as possible.

Playing around with mixing colors from previous brooms to make fun new looks so everything is always used. This one wrapped up what I had left of my gray-blue and green with some of my black broom corn!

Chewing through brooms I've promised to make for friends and family.

Fun fact: I think I've learned I'm allergic to this specific dye 😅😂 My arm has a lively new rash where the bristles occasionally touched me, and my hands are tingly.

We closed and sandbagged the door closest to this guy who seemed to literally be floating on water there until drainage caught up--but it's supposed to keep storming and I don't trust it. 🙃

Today in Loving Our Local Pottery Shop. 🖤

I had gone back to get a tea bowl that said 'Fuck Fuck Fuckity Fuck' because that is indeed something I say and a whole mood, and saw this new addition by the same artist.

This guy... I had moved to the couch with my coffee & he meowed at me until I rolled onto my side and scoot back so he could hop up and perform the Marchal Morning Ritual of being the little spoon and getting head and tummy scritches. What you don't hear is the very intense purring.
