Based on the information provided, I feel like now she's gonna go down the same path as Dracula, which directly contradicts the message of the movie.

The movie doesn't end with the visual of a young woman freed. It ends the same way it started. With a devastated lover holding the lifeless body of their beloved and her fiancé walking away after seeing how much she loved that man.

Why would he give this up so easily?

Why would him choosing to die be better for her? When we've seen that she doesn't feel at home in her life, doesn't love the man she's engaged to, and is MADLY in love and HAPPY with Dracula?

The issue is that they don't explain WHY or HOW this is the right choice for Dracula. He has been looking for 'her' for 400 years

So, she is basically his wife

Then they turn around and try to convince me that him choosing to die is done for her benefit
