Nosferatu (2024)

I'm not sure what I can even say that hasn't probably been said already, it's just a good ass movie.

I can't believe Shirt Tales predicted Dinklez. Also Mid City. Okay I'm done.

Strange Darling (2024)

I love a good non-linear story. I'm not gonna go into specifics, as to not spoil anything, but this is a great movie, that I think went sadly underlooked.

Cuckoo (2024)

I was very confused for a while there, but it all comes together in the end, with an exciting climax and a satisfying end. There's still some stuff I'm a bit confused about but whatever, this was really enjoyable.

Terrifier 3 (2024)

Terrifier 2 was already one of the most grueling watches I've ever seen, and this one ups the ante by like a hundred. Granted, I've had more experience with fucked movies since then, but this one still gets pretty hard to watch. I mean all of this in the best way possible btw.

I can't believe the fuckin poster for the movie got flagged by bluesky lmao.

Longlegs (2024)

I really wish their was a way I could describe it, but this is the kinda movie I want to inject straight into my bloodstream. It's just vibes and shit idfk.

The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence) (2011)

I like the meta concept for this movie. What I don't like is EVERYTHING ELSE ABOUT IT. This movie is the fucking worst!

The Human Centipede (First Sequence) (2009)

Honestly, not as horrid as I was led to believe. Still though, pretty fuckin horrid. But it achieves what it sets out to do, and I actually enjoyed it a decent bit?

Fresh (2022)

This is one of those movies that's really best when you know very little about it going into it. Very good, very horrifying, I'll leave it at that.

Um Jammer Lammy (1999)

Another pretty sick entry in this series. Story's a little less baby sensory than the other two, and the gameplay gets intense. As usual, the music is a strength. Also the only game I currently know of that tells you you should be banned from video games if you fuck up.

PaRappa the Rapper 2 (2001)

Basically a straight upgrade from the original. Maybe it's because I had a better idea of how the gameplay works, but I found it to be a lot easier, and more fun. The story wasn't half bad either, even though it still made me feel like I was watching baby sensory videos.

PaRappa the Rapper (1996)

Don't let the shitty Nick Jr. level cutscenes fool you, this game is no slouch, and PaRappa demands perfection. Maybe I'm going crazy but it feels like this game expects inhuman things from you. Cool music though!

Ichi the Killer (2001)

I don't even know how to describe this movie. It's depraved and dark, but not necessarily all in a bad way. Intriguing character study, visually striking with good sound design as well. It's not for everyone, but I found it to be interesting, and for the most part enjoyable.

Just like with Late Night with the Devil last year, it's a very bad precedent to set using AI generated images, but one bad decision is not to discredit a good work of art, and all of those who worked on it. It looks like there's no AI for the sequel's store art, so hopefully they learned a lesson.
February 15, 2025 at 4:47 AM
Can't for the life of me find who the artist is, if anyone would happen to know I'd really appreciate it. Anyway, the game itself is very fucking funny and clever, I laughed A LOT playing it. And to think I nearly avoided it because of the AI shit, which, mind you, is not present at all in the game.

Moral Dilemma: The Interview (2025)

For starters: not a fan of the AI image use for the steam store icon. The game has a good art style, even a screenshot with text put over it would suffice. There's even some really good art used in-game and for the game's library page (pictured here)

Misery (1990)

One of the most agonizing uncomfortable watches there is, and I of course mean that in the best way possible. It does an excellent job of not only building tension, but also giving you that glimmer of hope every now and then, only to coldly shatter it time and time again.
