Surely this can only go well for them!

What about driving people insane? I hear LLMs are VERY good at that. Probably a bit hard to monetize though...

Honestly? The sooner platforms like Facebook collapse, the healthier the Internet will be. I think we're headed back to an era of widely decentralized social networks with interconnection, rather than monolithic platforms, if for no other reason than people are tired of apps that hate them.

They're still at those protests, they're just the ones being protested against.

Because Microslop isn't *just* giving them enough to buy Product; they're giving them extra, and then charging them interest on it.
* Customer gets to record the loan as revenue
* Microslop gets to record the sale as revenue
* Mircoslop gets the interest as revenue too
Finance can be pretty gnarly.

You already know what time it is!
January 22, 2026 at 6:16 AM
Effectively, as I understand it:
* Microslop is selling products
* Customer wants to buy product
* Microslop enters an agreement with Customer to "finance" the purchase from themselves
* Both companies record this back and forth as revenue

Generally not a sign of a healthy company!

This, of course, assumes that there will in fact be a market to service with those datacenters and that they won't, in fact, be left empty to rot.

Unfortunately, it's more likely than not that they are left empty, because there is no actual market for LLMs.

I've never worked an office, but even I can say remote work is the obvious next step in workplace evolution. All the studies produced during Covid showed that it saved everyone money, made everyone more productive, and made everyone happier, with no exceptions.

Except middle managers.

It won't matter. They're all too exposed for any pullback to be meaningful.

So many articles these days don't even try. They just vomit whatever they want to be true onto the screen and hope people buy it.

Not just ANY emails, "warm catchup" emails. The kind that royally piss people off when they get them from bots and scammers.

Truly, what a genius business model. "Too lazy to try and talk to people? Our chatbot has you covered! Noww nobody will ever want to talk to you again! That'll be $500."

Oracle may even fare worse than you think; all their financial alchemy is catching up with them, and they just got sued by their own bondholders. At the very least, I'd say this skews them further towards bankruptcy.
