Two years ago my professor told the class that more traditional media will be valued over digital given the rise of AI and I can’t help but think about how accurate that is right now.
i'd rather see an amateuristic sketch that tells me something about the human that made it than a fully polished, full color, hyper detailed AI generated image. and i'm sad that more and more artists opt for the latter.

Calyptra doodles Amelia and Blair have an interesting relationship come the modern age. They split for a bit and then when Alexandra revives it brings them back together. My favorite era though is them in the 20s when Amelia has a cunty bob. (First image)

I think the artists who have job security are probably tattoo artists, maybe muralists, but being an illustrator is getting more and more scary with the rise of AI. It’s everywhere. Why hire an artist for your book cover if you can magic up cover art yourself. How do we fight against this?
