Its diversity was so rooted in female experience (I didn't think the Ravilious works really added anything). Very enjoyable!

Initially established by Lady Rothschild to support the children of Jewish refugees fleeing the Eastern European pogroms they grew to become central to Jewish life in the East End in the middle of the 20th century. At their peak 200 young people an evening went to their activities.

Love them! We used to have them for special occasions when I was a child, no idea why we don't make them any more.

Not sure I follow - I and all the Americans I know live here because we have commitments here (family/jobs) and generally love it. And we pay UK accountants handsomely to sort our tax returns.
