Interestingly, with characters like Guardian we see them begin as more traditionally superheroic (funnily enough, note the red belt), and then slowly be moved away from that —- to be, for instance head of security for Cadmus—- as if to reflect their costume

Lacking red, central to a majority of superhero costumes, these characters are positioned to exist on the fringes, + sometimes even invite conflict (of varying degrees) more traditional tri-color champions

It turns out this song is also perfect for the point of the all-nighter when you notice that it’s light outside again

I’m hard-line on this btw. Just wait until I get into how New Avengers has “the spirit of Hawkeye”
