Gannets diving for fish (Scotland), swift screaming parties (esp. watching them round the tower of the Museum of Natural History in Oxford), goldfinches perching on dandelion stalks and delicately picking off the seeds (how can they be so light?), hedgehogs snuffling around in the evening..

Beautiful photo! When our kittens first caught sight of themselves in a mirror they did the bottlebrush-hopping-sideways-hissing thing, which was adorable. They seem to have reached a truce with the mirror kittens eventually….
