For those who wanted to know the original story behind Junko: During the Xia Dynasty, there is a minister called Hou Kui (He's the minister of music, probably made some sick beats), he married a beauty named Xuan Qi(Junko), then Xuan Qi bore a son for him named Bo Feng.
However the leader of the tribe You Qiong known as Hou Yi staged a coup and takes over the Xia Dynasty by exiling Tai Kang, the third ruler of Xia.
(Please be aware that in mythology, the Hou Yi who shoots down 9 suns and this guy who ruled Xia are different people, however in Touhou Project they are the same person)
Due to Bo Feng supporting Zhong Kang (Tai Kang's brother), which made Hou Yi unpleased, Bo Feng was murdered. Then Hou Yi force Xuan Qi to marry him, after that, Hou Yi became the ruler of Xia, yet he's quite fatuous.
Although on the surface Xuan Qi obeys Hou Yi, she absolutely hated him. Xuan Qi then staged a coup with a treacherous minister Han Zhuo, who always wanted to reign the tribal territory of Xia. (Hou Yi trusted Han Zhuo very much, in fact, Han Zhuo does most of the work while Hou Yi was absent because he's going hunting every day.)
Xuan Qi and Han Zhuo then killed Hou Yi (By "烹殺", which means boiling, or rather, cooking him alive to death. ), then they distributed Hou Yi's flesh to his son, but he wouldn't eat it. As a result, he was chopped into meat sauce. (I guess tribal-era Chinese love making people into food for whatever reason.)
Xuan Qi then married Han Zhuo, then she bears two sons with him (Han Jiao and Han Yi).In the end, Han Zhuo became the ruler of Xia, later changing the name of this country from Xia(夏) to Han(寒) until Shao Kang (Tai Kang's brother's grandson) overthrown him, thus Xia Dynasty was finally restored from this massive clusterfucc.
