it's wild to be bragging that you are so unprincipled that politicians don't have to earn your vote. you'll vote for them no matter what as long as they have the right letter next to their name. grow a spine, have some authority.

voting for politicians with glaring issues is saying that you're okay with those issues. voting for the "lesser of two evils" is showing these evils that they will get your vote no matter what. vote for who you want

in their careers mookie is considerably more likely to get a hit off a lefty. and with freddie up, he can get a hit OR a walk to win the game. i think it was really stupid to walk ohtani

the 2-out, nobody on one is the most defensible. but i actually think the last one is pretty egregiously bad. mookie has the platoon advantage and a walk ends the game for freddie. i don't think ohtani is more likely to end the game than either of them
