I need cats in my life.
My spirit animal is two foxes screeching.

Still the world's most boring Aspie.
I have a full time job, but thank you.

Yeah, with English, German and Dutch, Swedish does feel like a natural next step...

That's fair. It's also likely easier to learn than Danish, Icelandic or Finnish.

Having said that, it's a pretty stupid language.

Jag kommer från Trollhättan, men bor i Göteborg.
Dahlin är ju inget ovanligt namn. Det finns tom mer än en Anna Dahlin bara i Göteborg.

Och etymologi är superintressant!

Swedish can be a pretty weird language. How come you're learning Swedish?

In Swedish, "book" is "bok", and "beech tree" is called "bok".

I've always wondered why it was the same word.

Thank you. Etymology is really interesting.

It's likely all the crosswords I do. Roman numerals come up more often than you'd think...

Haha, yeah, prob a pretty niche joke.
So, c^2 = c*c, which can also be written as cc.
In Roman numerals
M is 1000, and CC is 200, so MCC = 1200.

This photo is pretty awesome for any time period...

Yup. There are fart-kameror (cameras).

Also, we have a supermarket called Willy's and one of the most popular chocolate sweets is called Plopp, which amuses my English friends to no end.

Fun fact (yes, I'm a linguistics nerd). In Swedish we say KSKSKSKS, as the diminutive of cat (katt) is "kisse", i.e. it starts with a "k". And we all know that the diminutive for cat begins with a "p".

Please don't un-follow me!

I have questions.
The biggest one is: are the vests instrumental?
