The issue that I see is that if you look at the great Democratic leaders of the past like FDR, JFK, LBJ, etc, they couldn't get elected today because of the purity tests of the left. So we will either get milk toast centrists or far left candidates that turn off the independents.

I agree that they should but it shouldn't be one-sided. When you have people like Benny Johnson and Tim Pool taking Russian money to make anti-Ukrainian content and they just deny it so nothing happens to them and get invited to the White House, why should we give two shits about this?

So are you thinking that the only trustworthy content creators are the ones that do it for free? People need to make a living.

If the money is going to liberal creators and there are no demands for specific content from those creators, who cares where the source is?

I don't understand what the issue is with accepting "dark money". We know the Republicans do it. Are we just to sit back and let the Republicans take over this space or should we fight fire with fire? This feels like some sort of purity test that us Dems need to get away from.

A) Adjust your policies in hopes to improve next month's numbers and change the trajectory
B) Stick with your policies and fire the statistician that gave you the numbers?

He was raised by the Kents who instilled in Clark the values of compassion and humility to match his strength. So it doesn't matter what his birth parents intentions were. It matters the values that he learned from the people that raised him.
