Politicians are all the same. The problem I have is this one. No matter how wrong they get it, they know they are not going to be questioned or take responsibility.

It's frustrating to hear calls for them to 'accept the offer' when their pay has faced years of real-terms erosion.
If MPs can receive an annual pay rise without question, why is it so "irresponsible" for highly-trained doctors to fight for pay restoration after years of cuts?

Health secretary failed to protect patients by preparing the hospitals for flu. He is blaming doctors for his failure. It's not the doctors who invented Corriwards or doing ECG for patients in toilet

Wes Streeting is a Palantir plant who should be nowhere near the NHS.
Peter Thiel belongs to the same Trump/Musk cabal that want to dismantle Europe and install a far-right government in the UK.

The NHS is under pressure to adopt Palantir software. Its founder openly despises the NHS.

You can push back: use our tool to see if your local trust is using the software, then send an email to say no to Palantir

This crisis is a total failure of NHS capacity planning. The Health Secretary must deliver an urgent, fully funded plan to end this dangerous practice immediately or resign. Patient safety demands action now.

Labour promised shorter waits and more appointments, with plans for millions of extra slots and a return to the 18‑week standard.
Hard to see how cutting treatment squares with that.

The doctors' unions would argue they are forced to strike because years of policy have eroded pay and conditions to the point where the NHS cannot recruit or retain staff, making the service already dangerous.
If anything WESS should resign for the lack of preparation to the flu season

I think cardiometabolic medicine should be part of GPs work. I think we are good at treating Diabetes, HTN and CKD. However, we have no support regarding Obesity. There are no services for lifestyle. We are not allowed to prescribe injectable. Bariatrics list is 2 years. Treating Obesity is th Key

For me, this is the most important point in this study
The challenges of building and maintaining relationships with patients when consultations take place remotely.

I hope the HCPs will make F2F as default method when booking patients. I was told when I was doing psychiatry that you examine patients before taking history by looking at them, so how could we do that on the phone or by text or email.
There is a role for remote appt but limited to certain things.

General practice soon will follow, and I think that is the government's plan.
