I would not feel safe on here tbf if Iwas not ‘faceless’ as you put it. It is worse than X and showing people up for who they really are .. I have supported social justice and equality all of my life and thought I would meet like minded people on here

Please don’t make assumptions ..Because I do not share my ‘points’ with someone such as yourself ( prob not worth it tbf) does not mean I don’t have any ‘actual points’ as you put it . I am also picking up on how you have also shown the manner in which you ‘push back when challenged’🤔

Do u have access 2full details re these policies?I do not. but I joined here 2 share ideas & learn from others believing personal attacks happened on X & were mostly confined to RW bots & those who cannot tolerate different ideas .Your message (and others over past 24 hrs) tell me I was wrong

I still feel we need to consider timing and In addition the wider context in which labour gov has to operate which as you know includes an extremely powerful and influential right wing media amplifying narratives critical of every move gov makes and subjugating positive policies/news story’s ..

I wonder if we might need to consider wider context ..particularly timing here. because changes have not happened yet are we entitled to suggest Labour has ‘broken’ its promises .. ? Was there a time limit ? If there was then I stand corrected

It’s rubbish most ‘normal’ ppl have lost out .I’m really sorry you have been affected in this way & hope agreements can b reached that change travel rules and as much as poss without handing RW press opportunity 4 headlines such as ‘gov going against will of the people who voted 4 Brexit’ etc

I wouldn’t call people dunces .. ( I’m not a brexiteer) but I feel this criticism and language divides us and minimises the role powerful players ie government misters Boris Johnson, Russia , Reform and other played in this .. language matters and people should be respected and helped/informed

Yes ..the man I spoke with losing his house landlord selling .. totally stuck ..said he and wife trying to buy it but he hasn’t heart to tell her this will never happen .. should still be a council property but we all know what happened there !

It’s a nightmare & anything positive gov does do 2 support people in need is not shared in media . I was taking with a lovely delivery driver( working 2 jobs) about some of employment reforms and funding his town will receive.He had no idea. I just try to keep talking/sharing where I can

I can understand that it’s complex &agree better to be sure those in need are supported with benefits too but I guess the government fears Reform - hence focus on keeping some people ‘happy’ to prevent what happened in USA happening here .. then many people will suffer even more

Do you think all pensioners should get winter fuel payments or is cut off 2 low ?The media report on those who struggle without it not those who don’t need it ( inc wealthy).. I hope for fairer distribution of benefits & wealth. No amount of suffering is ok

This is awful and it’s from 6 years ago which I think should have been mentioned by thenposter.. it will be good if the system is reviewed and changes made to make sure people like this man who need help receive it and people who don’t don’t .

I agree it is repulsive &insulting but from my perspective & ppl like me. In USA huge swathes of electorate (many struggling) &fed RW msages for years didn’t connect 2 sensible fair and inclusive democratic messaging so sadly a mix of positive measures & posturing/language/crap might continue
