Better late than never: we hosted a small protest outside of Re. Lauren Boebert's (CD-4) office in Lone Tree on May 31st. We had a wonderful time meeting everyone; you all are so determined, it's inspiring! Thank you to everyone who came out!

Good news!
Reps Evans and Boebert tried to hold a celebratory press conference about the budget bill, and protesters drowned them out! This bill will cut $1.5 trillion from Medicaid, add $3 trillion to the national debt, and make tax cuts for billionaires permanent.

Please join us for a protest at Rep. Lauren Boebert's Lone Tree office on May 31st from 12pm-2pm! Her office is right by I-25 and a light rail station, so feel free to bring large signs. We're also encouraging everyone to bring personal statements about Rep. Boebert's policies.

Speaking of Boebert...
Her staff moved to a Lone Tree office about a month ago. The office's phone hasn't been hooked up yet, so no one can get a direct, in-person answer when they call. To get in, you have to use the security pad to call the office.
Her constituents (and staff) deserve better.

We also caught the Lone Tree town hall for Rep. Lauren Boebert (CD-4). A delightfully accurate Boebert stand-in answered questions from the audience, since the real Boebert couldn't deign to join us. There was also a great turnout for this town hall!

Rep. Evans just told the Denver Post he's held 40 in-person events (including town halls!) since he was elected. That's not true; the only town hall he (reluctantly) held was via telephone. Please come to the People's Town Hall this Saturday, April 26th!

The next Congressional recess is upon us. If you are able, please come to Greeley to demand accountability from Rep. Gabe Evans (CD-8). His constituents have organized a town hall at the Moxie Theater from 10-12pm this Saturday, April 26th.

On Saturday, 3/22, we went to an empty-chair town hall for Rep. Gabe Evans. His constituents talked about their concerns with air quality, healthcare, veterans' care, and accountability.
It was a truly inspiring week; thank you to everyone who joined us!

On Friday, 3/21, we attended the Fight Oligarchy rally in the Denver Civic Center! It was phenomenal to be a part of the 34,000 strong who came to see Senator Bernie Sanders, Rep, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and several local community leaders.
