Yes, but like in a bad way. You know how in The Witcher, or Kingdom Come: Deliverance side missions kind of add meat to the main storyline's bone. Here it's nothing like it - just a bunch of self-contained tiny quests that are loosely in the same universe. And none of it involves game mechanics

Every time I've been to some gathering, be it a conference or a big project meeting, I would get uncharacteristically hyped and itching to work on new ideas that I got while discussing stuff at said meeting, so I wouldn't write it off completely -sometimes those things can actually help productivity

It's also important to know when you do have the means to change something, and choose to do that when the opportunity arrives. But otherwise - have a rigid schedule and rituals - take care of yourself - have a social circle of rational people At least that's the best advice I've heard 🤷

I mean, what is escapism? If you're not able to influence a situation, voluntarily forcing yourself to obsess over it doesn't really do much but self-torture. Best you can do is not throw your hands in the air saying "well, nothing matters anyways" and remind yourself that all this is not the norm

But maybe it works the same in the other direction - the unimaginable horrors over time turn into "meh, just another tuesday"... Or maybe that's PTSD 🤔

what if it's like allergies? If you have nothing real to worry about, you still worry just as much, but about unimportant stuff? So it's kinda like trump gave us something to cry about 🤷

inb4 tesla fucks him over by releasing the "irrefutable proof" that the autonomous driving mode was not engaged, because the software disabled it 0.1s before the crash. And insurance fucks him over because he admits "it's his fault" in the tweet.
