John loaned me his copy of Rez in the 7th grade, and showed me Lumines 20 years ago. And what a 20+ years it has been.

These games and the music from them changed my life for the better. There is a science to the way it changes your brain chemistry.

I patiently await the Arise vinyl drop.
Up top, three vinyls lay flat: the Rez Area X vinyl, with a black cover and sunset gradient Xs, the Lumines Remastered vinyl, with the classic topographical face coverart, and Tetris Effect, with the colorful and luminous coverart. On the bottom is the special edition Rez Infinite vinyl that came with an attached book. It is open to show a page with text on the left and an image of the game on the right with a quote from Tetsuya Mizuguchi: “The concepts of groove, call and response, and synesthesia were the story of life itself.” The clear sleeve with the orange Rez figure lay on top of the side with the text.

Quite literally LAST NIGHT, DirecTV worked on FireFox. The frames were smoother and it looked better and was slightly more tolerable on this browser than it was on Chrome.

This morning? NOPE.

DirecTV is a rip off and they only want you to watch TV on your PC in 240p.

Every time Shohei is at bat, all I can think about is the Final Fantasy XI great sword battle stance.
