I agree with other commenters about geographic flexibility. It doesn't have to be forever but when you're just starting out you might have to go where the work is. Also, develop technology skills and sell them in your cover letters - every library is looking for tech-capable folks.

I sang so much to my daughter! Lots of lullabies, lots of show tunes and whatever else I could think of. She used to sing back to me too, she would narrate her whole day in song lol. Her favorite song was Mother Earth, Father Time from Charlotte's Web.
