(I went nuts on that⬆️ stuff)

My refusal to tolerate someone else’s intolerance doesn’t mean I am intolerant too, it means they’re an asshole.
Hurrr durrr

Did you know a grandmother’s trauma gets genetically passed down to grandchildren?

Consider what that means and the impacts.

It’s impossible to fix anything if you don’t acknowledge how it got broken - or even that it is broken - in the first place.

Shout out to Lee Atwater for doing such a fine job perverting safe spaces into the GOP for them. The man knew he was so awfully wrong he begged forgiveness on his deathbed.

Meanwhile his best buddy Roger Stone, meh, not so much.

This story is literally about a slave ship that kidnapped people from Africa.

It’s as if someone was talking about Jeff Epstein and you felt the reflex to comment that all sex abuse is bad.

How the hell can America aspire towards improving if we won’t even accept or acknowledge past wrongs, injustices and outrages?

3 - Or you are free to ignore the science and continue condescending from your high horse about the inability of people to pull themselves up by their own bootstraps.

The science won’t care. It exists and will persist.

2 - consider also that the grandmothers’ trauma across the world are also passed on - for example, what that means throughout Europe after WW2. Those experiences echo and affect people over generations.

1- I’m happy to give you some information that you might not know. The experiences of a grandmother are genetically passed on to her grandchildren. Consider the horrors of slavery, the century long shadow of Jim Crow, and what that means in light of the science.

Being awfully picky for some reason.

They tried pretty hard to hide the Clotilda but truth, uh, finds a way.

The last one of the victims died in the early ‘40s, iirc. The Meaher family, descendants of the criminal who organized it, are doing pretty well in the area today.

There’s a good documentary- Descendant - on the story streaming on Netflix.

Kick their ass, Mayor Bass!

People are really getting hung up on the word “allege” which is just accurate reporting when it’s hasn’t yet been corroborated/verified.

I understand the outrage. But getting this worked up over a single word is more the mentality - and injustice - of an angry mob.

This is how I imagine the Himmler/Hitler conflict during the last week or so of the Reich.

Sadly we’re no where near the end of the trump regime.

Fred Phelps all over again.

Pretty sure freedom of speech is still a thing.

If figures like comey stfu that’s not a good thing. And I’m not exactly a fan of his bungling or opinions.
July 9, 2025 at 1:36 PM
My thoughts? Don’t rely on AI for opinions on anything.

It’s idiocratic to turn to the machine on something like that.

What a waste of resources

Wait’ll you see what this does to oil prices.

And we all know MAGA will cite that as proof why we need to drill for oil all over.

It’s creating a problem to sell a solution.
