Get together class. Today we are going to talk about the "whataboutism fallacy". Here we have a perfect example. Not only does it not debate or refute the actual claim in any way, there is even an added "Shut up" thrown on at the end.

So you want them to do what? Because the people who create this game aren't reporters. So if you want them to fire the people who make the game which will do nothing at all to the news reporters, just say that. But it seems counter-productive.

Yeah, I personally would be a little vigilant and as you say, take care to inform your neighbors. It's hard to try and determine rational reasons for what someone is doing who may not be thinking rationally in the first place.
