3/ Also new! DigiNode Dashboard now displays mempool stats - watch in real time as transactions get added to the mempool! The Dashboard also shows the number incoming and outgoing connections of the peers you are connected to. Shout out to Patrick Starfish who suggested both these features!

2/ The new DigiByte port tester is tightly integrated into the DigiNode Dashboard so that with the tap of a key you can instantly check that your DigiByte mainnet and/or testnet nodes are visible to the rest of the network.

Lastly, the DigiNode CLI now makes it easy to view the testnet log when running a Dual Node using "diginode --dgb2log". That's all for now. More soon.

Another DigiNode improvement is that the 'Update Available' dialog now tells you what version of the software you are upgrading from AND to. (Previously it only showed what version you were upgrading to.)

4/ DigiNode Tools no longer has the ability to setup a DigiAsset Node ONLY - u need a DigiByte Node running as well. This is to prepare for a future upgrade to DigiAsset Core which requires a a DigiByte Node. DigiAsset core is being developed by @mctrivia.com Learn more: digiassetcore.digiassetx.com

2/ Every single menu, yes/no prompt and message box - all 196 of them - have been switched from whiptail to dialog (ncurses). It took three days of hard work to do them all, and they have gained a dash of color as a result, which hopefully also now makes the instructions easier to follow.

📣 DigiNode Tools v0.9.4 is now available!
What's new? Firstly, and most importantly, it fixes the issue caused by a bug in Debian that meant the menus became unresponsive at first launch that affected Ubuntu users and more recently Raspberry Pi OS users. No more workaround needed!

Here's a sneak peek at the redesigned Status Monitor which will be available soon. It will support displaying the status of a DigiByte Dual Node - i.e. a device running a mainnet node and a testnet node at the same time.

DigiNode Tools v0.8.10 is out!

1/ This release adds support for a new DigiByte port tester developed by @jongjan.bsky.social which now means you can know definitively if you have successfully forwarded the necessary ports on your router.
