Kyubi is a (Nine-tailed Fox), while Tenko is a (Celestial Fox)
Tenko is the highest rank a Kitsune can achieve.
I think it's a bit better then a recolor (which feels lazier).
it's hard to represent a Digimon living for 1 K years, so a new form felt more fitting with how the series works.
