We came back to an Army town, I went to school with Army kids. I think I was very insulated from racism in our part of town…we were very integrated. At school and socially. But, I’m old. It was a time of peace and love.😂

I haven’t but I will. I think living in military housing in the 60’s & 70’s formed how I see the world. Army kids always stuck together. Army green.

As a child of a military family, I lived in Europe, Kentucky, California, NC, NJ & then back to GA where I was born. No place is perfect, but I like to remind folks that where I’m from gave us MLK,John Lewis,Jimmy Carter & saved the Senate majority twice. Just something to think about when you speak

I do social media for a living. DM’s are my least favorite part. I don’t know that I’ve ever gotten this many before. On any platform. I’m 60 & southern, it isn’t the easiest thing for me to be intentionally rude, so I ignore them. But how do you ignore that? Nope.
