Bonus reflection:

I think a goal for 2026 is going to be keeping better track of my tv shows, games and movies cause daaaaamn was it a stretch to remember all this and there was probably something more important to 2025 that I missed 💀

Part 5 of 5

Shows that I have to finish or are ongoing, and anime.

Phineas and Ferb is iconic, Gudetama as so fucking cute, and I got 14 Simpsons down before needing a break.

Gachiakuta is so good, ESPECIALLY if you like post apocalypse. Ouran rewatches are always great, and Dandadan is AWESOME

Part 4: Movies and Hidden Gem Animation

Wicked (and Wicked for Good) were so great, and K-Pop Demon Hunters has monopolized my playlists. Mickey 17 lived rent free in my head at the start of the year.

Long Story Short, Carol, and Disventure Camp are AMAZING and everyone should watch them.

Part 3

Video Games and Kid's Shows

Dispatch, Persona 5 Royal, and Hello Kitty Island Adventure ate up so much of my attention this year.

I binged all of Disney's Recess everything recently, my partner and I watched all of Fillmore as soon as it dropped on Disney+, and Hilda is a cozy gem.

Part 2!

The Hyperfixations of 2025, featuring Adult Animation and Detective Conan + Spinoffs. I've also been reading Conan!

Detective Conan, The Culprit Hanzawa, And Magic Kaito 1412! This ate up all of December.

Hazbin Hotel, Amazing Digital Circus and Haunted Hotel had my brain in a vice too

For a long time I've wanted to celebrate the Solstice. While I don't mind Christmas, it doesn't mean very much to me. But the Solstice feels very human- celebrating the return of light, and spending the shortest (and tbh peak crappiest) day of the year doing something cozy and relaxing feels right.

The functional compromise is that I sorted everything out by type, so now all my singles are together, all my books, all my Funkos, all the international orders, and then all the multi-orders. I've got a sense of order without having to review every single one myself first.

Also had a good cry.

So I'm sitting here trying to reason with and console my brain like "Hey, it's okay, we'll just go oldest to newest, and use the computer instead of the sheets. It's fine."

And my brain is like a screaming toddler going "NO IT'S NOT OKAY. TIME TO CRY."

Brain... logic has a plan, let me DO IT. 🤬

Logically, this isn't an impossible task. I just have to do my workflow without a planning it all out precisely first. Overall the help was a BIG net benefit.

But my brain just short circuited and went "NO IT'S WRONG. CANNOT CONTINUE. ERROR. CAN'T START. DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO."
