Jim Maxwell the Australian cricket commentator was slightly obsessed with the shipping forecast. When TMS was on radio 4 they would interrupt the commentary to go to the shipping forecast. He couldn’t get his head around it 😂. I think they invited him to actually do it but that could be a myth.
