I unplugged the screen in a huff in the hope this would fix it but now plugging it in again doesn't work at all so this has gone spectacularly badly.

Tableau was sent from hell to torment us all. But this part is just especially insane and irritating.

I think it's just a different communication style. It puts me on edge and I have to tell myself it's just that they are less addicted to their phone than me but it does usually seem true that if someone is enthusiastic when they do reply but don't reply that much that they do actually like you.

Also sometimes the orthography is inconsistent.

It's fairly good (aside from how miserable much of it makes you feel) though there are some odd bits where it seems the editor randomly stopped reading halfway through a page so it just sort of repeats an explanation in a slightly different way. Given it is 700 pages it could perhaps not do this.

No I think the train should frequently derail itself so it can make it there faster on the times it's lucky. It's the way of the future.

Thought something was $30 and it was $300. Realised when I got the bill with the items in 100s of ¥ and then 1000s of ¥. Oh.

Fun story I once got this out by an order of magnitude and only realised when I got the bill and realised my drink hadn't actually cost $1. 😓
