Last night was fun! Pittsburgh elected Corey O’Connor to be its next Mayor and I was surrounded by people I’ve known from all walks of life (some for two decades) to celebrate some guy who’s been my boss for the last 3 years. Congrats Big Boss and to everyone who worked so hard on this… good job!

Had an IEP meeting at my sons school today & they were so hyped that I read the 25/26 proposed general fund budget they had in the waiting room. Not often someone who appreciates the work that goes into creating a budget actually reads it. Telling educators how much I appreciate them is my fave!

Can officially say I’m 40 today. The universe sure does make me chuckle and i’m grateful it gave me the knowledge I needed to reflect on the last year with an overwhelming sense of acceptance, closure, and confidence for whatever the next 40 years brings.
