I was in a two-day leadership class last week, and in an exercise where we had to identify people who exhibited strong leadership traits and values, most people kept using Musk as an example. These are the people doing the day-to-day work of running a billion dollar company.

While possibly only a coincidence, Inorganic Syntheses Volume 1 was published the year my father was born. The dedication on that first volume is magnificent. I’m proud that I was a part of the 35th volume, published 71 years later.
