Watching hockey as a family (Go Canada Go!) and the way my kids are *fascinated* by the commercials 😂….

Anyways, I nailed the “well back in MY day” speech.

If you’re in an exercise rut or having a hard time getting started:

Pick a show that you enjoy (maybe it has lots of cliff-hangers!) and MOVE while you watch it.
Walk in place? Squats?Weights?

Even 10 minutes is a win over 0 minutes.

Reminder to book that appointment you are putting off. Dentist? Pap? Eye exam? Mammogram? Get it on the schedule and get it done.

What you do MOST of the time matters more than what happens only sometimes.

Habits, systems and patterns matter more than micromanaging every nutrient.

Consistency matters more than intensity.

Getting sick sucks. 🤧🦠

No supplement will take the place of healthy habits.

🥦Balanced nutrition including vegetables/fruit/protein
🧼Good handwashing.
🏃🏼‍♀️Regular exercise.
💉Stay up to date.
😴Enough sleep.
💦Hydration.
😷 Wear a well fitted mask, especially in healthcare & crowded indoor settings

It’s a cold 🥶 Sunday, we’re relaxing at home, AND:

✅ 5 minute Meal plan meeting with the family
✅ Grocery delivery order placed, arriving tomorrow
✅ Laundry going
✅ Workout done #peloton
✅ upcoming workouts planned & in the calendar.

Holiday break ❤️
The house is a mess and decorations are still up. We skated, tubed and snowboarded. We cooked, we baked, we played board games. We watched movies, we snuggled, saw friends, worked a little, decluttered a little, and slept in.

Tomorrow, baby B, my little 2020 🌈, turns 4! She is sweet, goofy, and loves to pretend. She gives the best hugs. She loves to learn and is working hard on her sports and her printing. This age is magic! B you completed our family in the most special way. Love you always sweetheart. 💖

This baby girl is 7 tomorrow 🥹❤️. 7 feels…not so little anymore. 7 is a big kid. She reads stories to her little sister. She’s excelling at school and her sports. She asks the smartest, most profound questions. She changed my life, forever, in the best way. Love you, M.

Easy no cook breakfast on repeat this week:

✨Yogurt (use Greek or Skyr for more protein)
✨Chopped apple (or whatever fruit you have)
✨Bran buds (start with a Tbsp or 2 and work your way up to more. I like 1/4 cup)
✨cinnamon

Tasty, quick, filling. ✅✅✅
