This is the worlds first battery electric car ferry, the MF AMPERE! In operation since May of 2015, 1000kWh of Battery capacity, can be recharged in 10 Minutes (meaning 6 MW of charging power!!), has 2x 450kW electric motors, solar and heat scavenging for HVAC! I love it! ⛴️

We’re finally on an electric ferry in Norway! The MM105FE EL Tomrefjord, 2x 1200kW electric motors, 2016kWh battery capacity and 3 backup diesel generators with 640kW power each. We’re being charged while on-/offloading!

Was finally able to charge at a @KempowerOyj@twitter.com HPC for the first time and I love it already! German CPOs, please use them as well, they are awesome! They even replaced two gas pumps at below the canopy already! I love it!
