Twitter isn't Twitter anymore, so now when it finally dies it won't be Twitter that died (it died the day Musk bought it) but instead it will be something with Musk's stink all over it that failed. He'll have nobody to blame but himself.

Yup. Spent about 5 seconds scrolling through the Threads feed this morning before giving up. All verified accounts that I have no clue who they are and meaningless content. Hard pass.

My early opinion is that Threads is a dumpster fire of its own making as there are no feed controls or filters. You see what they want you to see with no way to limit the feed to only those you follow. The content is trash as well. Of course, it's the shiny, new thing, so maybe it'll get better.
