Sockanimals are a topic I told you about before. Meanwhile we are living with a flock of them, studying their behaviour. This is Amal. They seem to be the leader of our group, meaning that those wise little guys are probably prefering matriarchal structures. 1/3

Never trust a dog with somebody else's ears. Especially not if you are a plushy donkey. Luckily this one lives with us so I could quickly do some surgery here. Almost as good as new! Now we have to find a hiding place for it...

Sometimes my inner scientist gets the better of me. To spare the housemates I create new life. Here I am putting together simple heads, trying different shapes for the jaw. Additionally I work on bringing more movement to the mandible to make more facial impressions possible.

Paule is a constant housemate, making music with my family, spraying graffitis on our walls and involving us in long political discussions. From time to time we spend nice evenings at our bar. I like his unstressed aura and his leftish green raunchyness.

This is Smarty, my first Procreate project. As I am sitting at home trying not to give my Corona to others, I thought I'd spend the time usefully. I must say I am impressed by all the possibilities and I don't think I am going to stop anytime soon. Hope, you like Smarty as well!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I am learning to work with procreate. The job was to draw an anglerfish. My tutor drew a wonderfully crooked and ingeniously ugly exemplar. Mine however decided to find itself beautiful, intelligent and charming.

Sometimes children bring their beloved cuddly friends, trusting me to restore them without changing too much. This is Mimi. Being clutched to her human's heart every night made her lose the colour on her little nose and parts of one eye. We found worthy replacements. Human and bunny left happily.

Found this in my examination room searching my things. Looks quite intelligent, don't you think? It should get some ears, a nose and probably a tongue to tell me about its wishes...

After a long time of fighting mighty monsters and recovering from it in the seclusion of our home we are opening our eyes to the world again. Hi world 👋🏻Usually I am no person to write too too much about myself, but if you read this far, you are probably kind of interested in what happened. 1/4

Klappt gut.

The day Rose and her family came into our lifes was a normal Tuesday. Well, not totally normal as we had a lockdown and all our kids were at home learning online. I was making them breakfast when - after a while - I looked outside the kitchenwindow... 1/2

Nevertheless it took some time to get accustomed to their needs and characteristics, leading to one or two gruesome situations which we luckily survived. 3/3

That's me at work. I started as an animal doctor, but while staying at home with my kids word seems to have spread in Northern Hesse that I am ok with needle and thread and fast in taking in strays in need of help... 1/3

...Mr. Petalrich is a huggling - a species that is very plant-affine. The hugglings got their name because when they were first seen they were just emerging from their treeholes after hibernation climbing down looking like dozens of little treehuggers. By heart they surely are. 2/2

A beautiful Day to you! Mr. Petalrich here takes care of our flowers. He belongs to the zoological family of sockanimals about whom there is much to be said in the future as we are sure we solved the so far mysterious question of where the single socks do vanish to... 1/2

Urgh... kann mir vorstellen, wie Du Dich fühlst. Hoffe, Du kannst Dich heute irgendwann wenigstens für die höchst erfolgreiche Jagd belohnen.

Whatever - we are working hard on educating the little creature with love and patience while it is jumping happily through our lifes, leaving behind a camparatively huge amount of chaos. 3/3

Introducing the family, part 1:

We start with our youngest family member. This is Anubis. Yepp, the ancient Egyptian god, protector of graves, guide to the underworld etc. Ok - this one might be a wee bit smaller than the original, but who knows what himself looked like by the age of 10 weeks? 1/3
