Bay Village and Back Bay are very safe. Even Chinatown and the Common are mostly fine, just wouldn't walk around them alone past midnight.

Not really, Boston is very safe and it’s unlikely you’d wander into a dangerous neighborhood since they’re quite far from the city center. I’d maybe be more vigilant in the theater district, Boston Common, or Chinatown late at night but again, it’s pretty safe here.

There’s many! Acorn Street or really anywhere in Beacon Hill. The Boston Public Garden, and the North End are also good spots.
