Very excited to share that I will be participating at ASPHS this year at the University of Maryland. I will present my research about how Creole intellectuals created a local tradition of literary history. More than welcome to come if you are around DC area!

As part of my studies in Material and Visual Culture— my research subfield at ND— I’m going to be speaking at Art History works-in-progress about a series of Arawak ritual mask unearthed in 1691 at the Sierra Nevada (Col.). Very excited to share this part of my research.
