GOG can integrate a lot of your other game libraries if you want it to through built in plug ins. There is an unofficial plug-in for steam, but there has been some issues with it. I also like that I can play my games directly and bypass the launcher.

On my old computer, the steam launcher was actually slower than the GOG launcher. It was always lagging for me.
