I love sports event bluesky, as someone who finds watching a full game dull and long, it keeps me up to date and I can enjoy everyone's excitement without having to actually put aside 3+ hours! It's great!

Immigrants on visas and green card holders are eligible to get driver licenses and are ineligible to vote. You don't need to be a citizen to be able to legally drive.

The school bar at my old university owed the student association a debt of 1.4 million dollars, presumably due to their 2 dollar shots and five dollar pitchers since the bar was packed every night

Warsh is absolutely not who I would pick to run the FOMC but I cannot stress enough that he is a massive bullet dodged and there is little evidence he will serve as a weapon to dismantle Fed independence. That would not have been true of other potential nominees.

I glanced at Twitter out of grim curiosity, and a lot of the celebrations seems to be "Ha, the IRS will be bankrupt now", "This will be a way to disclose corruption in the federal reserve to shut it down", and "This will make sure leaks don't happen in the future and he'll donate it all back". Ugh.
