for me, i dont really care because im most likely never going to change my username, gayfamicom is a fantastic username that im probs never going to change, been using it for a good 5 years now

did:plc is a random string of 24 characters, but its hosted by Bluesky Social PBC so u are relying on them, u dont have full control over it, even on a third party PDS.

now, there *are* some cons to using did:web..
like since u can't change ur did, u have to rely on keeping ur domain forever

does that also mean it's gonna run on wayland natively out of the box without needing to add chromium flags in the desktop entry..... since they are also updating electron....

how it feels seeing this on bsky first before opening fedi so it didn't work on me loll
