I dont think the swords of justice were huntable in any newer games. At least not switch ones. Theyre a side story in SwSh DLC so shiny locked there and all the SV legendaries were shiny locked.

I mean the lore we get in the Magearna quest pretty much retcons that and implies they can totally make new megas for anything

I got all 3 starter stones from my first battle and got baxcaliburs stone from my second battle. Its very easy to rank up

Makes a bit more sense in the context of when Mega Zygarde shows up during the story of ZA. Basically Zygarde has to stop an oncoming threat head-on but cant just rely on tanking a hit and takes a new form to put everything into offense to save the day.

It redistributes the cells that normally make up the armored skin on Zygarde to form a cannon. Note how the body is the same shape but slimmer and looks exposed.

I was so excited to have a new type of side quests from Corbeau and then it ended after like 3 tasks. On the other hand, though, battling me once, saying "see you at the hotel" after, and then forgiving the 100k loan the next morning makes for a hilarious implied series of events.
