Sort of... erm.... oh, l dunno. Fancy a beer?🇬🇧

I block crypto twats. Just fuck off. And online hookers.
That's for acrylic-clad poseurs, with mullets.

It's great fun playing hard rugby when you're 20something.

Fast forward...I am mid 50s, and everything that isn't numb aches.

I'd pay extra on my license on principle, like when Hislop saved Private Eye from that ludicrous damages award favouring Sonia Sutcliffe.
November 17, 2025 at 9:24 PM
If they pay him what his reputation is worth, that'd be 0.0057%* of one licence.

I'd send him the cheque, 2nd class post, just to drive the point home.

*l may have got the decimal in the wrong place... I meant 1p.

Oh for fuck's sake, you propagandised bell end, find another moon to howl at.

You're boring and ignorant, as well as a bigoted arsehole.

Top Tip: stop slurping your opinions up out of Elon Musk's blocked drain.
November 17, 2025 at 9:19 PM
Yeah, this second career in media management isn't suiting him.

He should've stuck to falsetto disco harmony & wearing spangly flares.

Which men?
November 17, 2025 at 9:14 PM
The reason we have high immigration is, primarily, the housing cost:wages ratio.

Us bickering about immigration is one of many distractions from the quickening dlide back to tbe 19th Century.
November 17, 2025 at 9:13 PM
Like I said.... 6th form politics.
November 17, 2025 at 9:10 PM
Yes it does. It may well get no better under "Labour", but it'd get a metric shit-tonne² worse under the drooling maniacs who'll be in Government if they're not.
November 17, 2025 at 9:09 PM
I'm patronising you, because your position is self indulgent and unrealistic.

Our crappy electoral system doesn't forgive frivolous protest vote/abstention crap.

Labour are shit. I left recently over ID cards.

ToryKip are a lot, lot worse.

To repeat; our next Govt. is ToryKip or Labour.
November 17, 2025 at 6:34 PM
"Opposition to Reform"?

Reform won't win a GE. Tories might, or might coalition with Farage's pro-Russian transphobe Nazi ghouls.

Greens are to Labour as Reform to Tory.

Votesplitters.
November 17, 2025 at 6:30 PM
Yawn.

6th form politics is ok when you're in the 6th form, Rik.
November 17, 2025 at 6:24 PM
That needs remedying quickly.
November 17, 2025 at 5:04 PM
They won't win.

If you live in a tight Tory/Labour or Reform/Labour seat & don't vote Labour, you're helping Tories or Reform.

Your desire for three square feet of moral high ground, in a Faragist hellscape, doea you no credit.
Unless you're this guy.

Right, kids?
November 17, 2025 at 5:03 PM
Yes.

Reform or Tories are worse.

Your options for the next UK Government, absent a change of voting system, are Tory, Labour, or Reform. Possibly a coalition, with one of them in the driving seat.

Realistically, we're not getting Greens or a comparable vaguely socialist government.

Least worst.
November 17, 2025 at 4:56 PM
Until we get a different voting system, or unless you live in a constituency where a Lib Dem, Green, or independent (i.e. not a nationalist) can win, you should vote Labour, in Parliamentary elections.

"Least-worst", by definition, beats "worst".

Protest votes & abstentions achieve nothing at all.

To play devil's advocate here.... stopping arms sales to UAE would simply mean UAE buys arms from France, US, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Brazil, or China.

What would that achieve?

I LOVE gargoyles. If you read "the Iron Dragon's Daughter" there's a great passage describing their mating & feeding habits.

Love that book.

Landlord tantrums make great tiktoks. Let's have more.
November 15, 2025 at 3:15 PM
Yeah. Let's do to private landlords what buy-to-let did to local authority housing.

Start off by doubling tax on rental income, and forbidding rent rises above inflation. Oh, forbid non-UK taxpayers from owning residential property to rent out, too.

C'mon, Labour. Use that majority.

Landlord

Hopefully the bsky algorithm will do to Farage's account what hot water does to chocolate.
November 15, 2025 at 3:10 PM
Barbour stuff is made in China now anyway.

My Barbour's in long term storage. Can't wear it in case someone thinks I'm with Farage.

Same for my double-breasted suit. Not that Nigel can wear them properly, the feller's got no shoulders.

DEI is an American acronym.

Are these bell-ends licking their ideas up out of Elmer Musk's unflushed toilet bowl?
