Occasionally televised. Sometimes published. Locally sauced.
Clearing out old telly stuff. Yes. You can shop with the stars on 1 December 1998. Such a weird list of ‘stars’. And yes. Uri Geller where you’d expect him.

A huge thank you to @babayagashut.bsky.social for a truly magnificent summer party at Bar 90 in Hackney Wick. Great venue, great bands and brilliantly organised - culminating in Part Chimp pounding us all into mush with consummate professionalism.

I cycle past this every week and it always makes me furious. I could go a different way but I’m drawn to it like those people who watch TV shows starring celebrities they hate. It’s the idea of each tile slowly cemented down. Morons. Fucking morons. (See you again same time next week, tiles.)

My friend Matt mattsmithfx.com made a perfect, life size replica of Matty Healy of The 1975 in his studio for one of their tours, threading every individual hair and copying every tattoo and I don’t think it or he get enough credit. Here’s to full size replicas of pop stars’ bodies. #glastonbury

The strange, sun-blushed, sugary space pop perfection of Pearl & The Oysters at @thelexingtonlondon.bsky.social last night. A privilege to finally see them live. The sound of everything being exactly as it should be.

As campaigning groups go, this one (which has expanded its campaign to the Gents toilet at the White Horse in Brixton) is unusually specific.

It’s always exciting and impressive cycling over Tower Bridge. Like cycling over a massive celebrity.

Not many comedians could pull off a routine about a bumpy flight with the cast of Eastenders, climbing out onto the ‘wing’ of the aircraft using an ironing board and a leaf blower. Then again, not many comedians are Harry Hill. Only one actually. Thank you Cornerhouse Surbiton and thank you Harry.
