Die seltsame Welt des Mr. Jones ist wohl nicht Dicks grösster Roman, verfolgt aber ein sehr interessant-aktuelles Thema, die Verführung des Massen durch einen An-führer.
Auf deutsch findet man den Roman in Die Welten des Philip K. Dick von Bastei Lübbe 1985/96 und solo zuletzt bei Goldmann 1975(!)

There was talk about making it into a movie, a couple of years ago. It certainly got a movie in it, just think of them drones (we already had them in Minority Report, still).

Certainly one of his best.
And I also like this red-ish cover (by Chris Moore, as almost all of the Gollancz) rather than the later all-blue (all/many later editions of the Masterworks have this very boring monochrome look).

"Der heimliche Rebell" - German translation of "The Man Who Japed". Only one German edition.
Not his greatest from a literary perspective, but worth reading (they all are!). PKD said back then: "the topic is not American culture but the society ... in Mainland China".
