Bertie doesn’t seem to get that his advent calendar only gives treats once a day. He has taken to sitting under it and staring at it/us hoping for more (he has had his food, a doggy roast at the pub & one they gave us to take home) ffs!

Reminds me of the time I fell asleep throwing up in the toilets and woke up in the morning having gathered up a (slightly damp) drip mat as a pillow. Classy boy! (General election 1997 - we had just ousted Norman Lamont. Happy times)

Waiting at the airport at the end of our 25th anniversary break, thinking of the last few hours yesterday night spent drinking cocktails and watching boats bob up & down at the marina. A chilled out way to end a few days of sun, storms, Xmas lights and lazy afternoons reading by the pool. Lucky boy

Intriguing that NF seems to have an issue with the Common Law too. That is a fundamental (& valuable) part of the British legal system and our unwritten constitution. This is surely evidence that Reform plan an assault on Britishness on a par with what Trump has done in the U.S.
