Alternatively if these are too slow paced or difficult, play MMX 1-4 (3 is arguably the worst of these, but not bad). The MMX games are so incredibly good, that honestly you could start with these instead of the classic series for an easier and more enjoyable intro into the series.

For classic MM, dont worry about starting at the beginning and skipping around. Start with MM 2 and then 3. Classic nes versions in the legacy collectiok with rewind features if you want. Then, if you are really enjoying those, try 7 and 11 to get a feel for the more “modern” style of classic MM.

Curious to hear what youve heard from brufords solo stuff. Im quite a freak about his catalogue tbh. But I would strongly recommend you check out the album “One of a Kind” by Bruford. Some of the best Fusion/Jazz rock ever imo.

Woah! Didnt realize there were other National Health fans out there. Big fan. Are you a fan of the band Bruford (bill brufords group in the late 70s)? Its got dave stewart from national health playing more on the fusion side rather than canterbury rock.
