Despite the ultra-Catholicism of Franco regime, Spain is a country that refuses to bury their dead. This refusal continues during the transition to democracy til today. There are believed to be as many as 2,000 such clandestine graves across Spain, according to ICMP. /3👇

Everybody knows, or should know, that in Spain we have plenty of mass graves in most of the villages as a result of the Fascist repression during the Civil War of 1936-39 and the subsequent decades of repression. /2👇
