super excited to announce my new workshops on moving thru activist/artistic/life burnout and end stage capitalism using #disabilityjustice! the first virtual workshop is next saturday dec 14 and you can sign up below :)
Rest as the Heart of Resistance: a workshop on moving through burnout using disability justice frameworks! Together, we'll examine burnout as an inevitable state of being for people living under late stage capitalism. Then, we'll look at how disability justice can help us approach life more sustainably. How to plug in! You can invite me to facilitate this workshop at your community/school/organization both virtually and in person. OR you can join a virtual workshop! Im offering several sliding scale ones over the next few months. What the workshop looks like: Every workshop is different based on the attendees and orgs, but I start by creating a space for folks to really talk about their experiences with burnout and care. We’re there for each other in the messy and complex and vulnerable parts of it all. You’ll come away with disability justice tools for caring for yourselves and each other, and the opportunity to create art about it. Im offering virtual sessions for individuals twice a month! Dec 7 & 14, January 11 & 25, February 8 & 22, and March 8 & 23
