New details about the role of Wnt in suppressing neural differentiation and fostering a posterior epiblast state, and the temporal effect of Nodal signalling in driving mesendodermal fates
Nodal builds the anterior part (excluding the brain) in a concentration/time-dependent manner, regulating mesendodermal differentiation. Wnt paces gastrulation by controlling the state transition leading to the caudal epiblast emergence ( #NMPs). CHIR and Activin gastruloids mimic these two modules.
