Planning a video summing up my thoughts about the season just gone. Getting footage for the backdrop by filming my local badgers...
We were out at the very unattended North Cotswold and Croome joint meet today. I was able to spend a lot of time with the hounds and was able to see first hand the effect of sticky, muddy soil on the fox scent as a fox ran and I then watched the hounds unable to pick up on it. Also lovely sheep!

Hunts say: "Hunting nicely", "Tuned in", "Settled"
Meaning: The hounds are actively chasing and closing in on whomever they are chasing. They will be making a lot of frenzied, high-pitched noise and moving rapidly.
